I remember a good many nights out with folk from the Scotch Whisky Experience. We would start off in the Castle Arms Pub on the pints (flat and tasteless), then turn to whisky. From there, we would normally head to Espionage (oh, we were classy) or to an Irish pub/club called Dropkick Murphy’s.
The best moment of the night was always when ‘Whiskey In The Jar’ was played and everyone went mad. But what’s the best version? Endless discussions, sweat and tears, reasoning and threatening… All that never brought us an answer. But now you guys get to vote and what you say is official:
Is it The Dubliners’ version (My favourite)…
The Thin Lizzy version…
Or the Metallica version (Lucas’ favourite)?

Thin Lizzy definitely the best, however Metallica’s version very good and close second.
