Islay Festival Attendance Cancellation

Islay Festival, which has started yesterday, was meant to be the highlight of the year for Chris and me.

Unfortunately an array of unforeseen circumstances led to us no longer being able to go and enjoy our stay there.

I regret to inform you, and I write this almost literally sitting on my packed bag, that neither Chris nor I will be present on Islay in the immediate future, in spite of what was arranged and agreed.

On my part I sincerely apologise.

Not to worry my lovelies! I will be going regardless- and proudly wearing the official edinburghwhiskyblog t-shirt at all times so you can be there in spirit if not in fact! I will bravely endeavour to taste fabulous whiskies in your name and even remember to write notes on them and the festival in general. It’s a tough job but I’ll struggle on…:)
