Nose: Menthol and bread with a touch of leather and sweet pipe smoke… smells like an old man but in a good way. With water presents some quality sweet vanilla. Add a touch more and it hits with berry-flavoured Robinson diluting juice, milk chocolate and more wood smoke. Awesome.

Mortlach means ‘duck massacre’ apparently…
Colour: 1970s brown leather sofa
Nose: Apples, berries and peaches. Blackcurrants and nail varnish, lemony and sour. Finally White chocolate and nutmeg.
Palate: Grapey blackcurrants oaky and very clean
Finish: Very short

Diageo has just announced the release of the second batch of their (in)famous Manager’s Choice expressions. The release comprises of 6 new single cask whiskies:
