Just a wee note to say I am heading up to beautiful Speyside next week. It is going to be a whistle stop couple of days as a guest of Chivas Brothers.
Here is a snap shot of my itinerary:
- Heading to Glenburgie Distillery (one of the main malts in the Ballantine’s blends)
- Meeting Sandy Hyslop (Master Blender for Ballantine’s)
- Visiting The Glenlivet Distillery
- Meeting Alan Winchester (Master Distiller for The Glenlivet)
- Visiting Strathisla Distillery (the home of Chivas Regal)
- Visiting the Royal Salute Vaults (not sure what this is, but it sounds exciting)
Now, I am not just writing this to be smug. I am writing it for a purpose. If you fine folk have any questions, I am in Speyside Monday and Tuesday so comment on this post, facebook me, email me, tweet at me any questions you have. I will happily ask as many questions as I can.
Cheers,
Chris
Have fun, mate. And make sure you always lock your doors.
Wish I could come along for the ride, too.
Slainte!
Jason
Thanks mate.
And trust me, after the stories on the Pultney trip, I always lock my doors. I considered getting a lock on my room at home.
Hopefully see you at some point soon.
Slainte!
Chris
guys,
what happened with the door?
Chris, enjoy your time.
Strathisla has a barred area in one of their warehouses with historic bottlings of Royal Salute
