Ardbeg honours the Whiski Rooms

Whiski Rooms

The Whiski Rooms becomes an Ardbeg Embassy

Whiski Rooms, one of Edinburgh’s top whisky bars, is the first venue in the UK to be awarded the prestigious title of on-trade Ardbeg Embassy. Big congrats from all here at Edinburgh Whisky Blog Towers! That’s all very fine and well, you might think, but what does it actually mean? Well, the Whiski Rooms has a great range of Ardbegs in the shop, behind the bar, available in the restaurant to go with your food and in the tasting room at the rear of the shop. As well as this, they have a dedicated ‘Ardbeg Room’ which can be hired out for private dining. But it doesn’t stop there – they have also created an Ardbeg-themed menu.

Mickey Heads, Ardbeg Distillery manager, said, “The Whiski Rooms have proven themselves to be passionate and loyal Ardbeggians, which is why we selected them as the UK’s first ever On-Trade Ardbeg Embassy. We¹re delighted to welcome the Whiski Rooms as an Embassy, and I look forward to sampling the Ardbeg-inspired food menu the next time I pop in for a dram.” Praise from on high indeed!

If you haven’t yet visited the Whiski Rooms I urge you to get yourself along. They can be found at 4-7 North Bank Street (at the top of the Mound) and host numerous tastings throughout the year. Check out their Facebook page to keep up to date with all their latest news!
