Fancy a Stramash?

Playfair Building

No, this is not code for some between-the-bed-sheets shenanigans. Stop giggling you smutty little so-and-so. I’m talking about the inaugural Whisky Stramash, happening the weekend of the 26th and 27th of May at the Surgeons’ Halls in Edinburgh. I’ve previously written about what this fantastic event entails but there’s more! The Stramash boys, Darroch and Scott, have been mightily busy over the past wee while and have added many more exhibitors to this already impressive list. Alongside the ones I mentioned in my earlier post the following folks will be present: (take a deep breath) Glenrothes, Macallan, Highland Park, Ardmore, Laphroaig, Brewdog Beer (rumour has it they’re bringing along a beer made from Diageo’s testicles – don’t quote us though), Dancing Stag Single Bottlings, Glen Moray, Smokehead, Glengoyne, Amrut, Benromach, Gordon and MacPhail and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society Lounge Lizard. Glenfiddich will also be there and will have a pioneering exhibition which will give you the chance to take a virtual tour of their stillhouse, cooperage and warehouses. Check out what our good friend Jamie Milne has planned for you once you step inside Glenfiddich’s Warehouse 47.

The Whisky Stramash is just around the corner, got your tickets yet?

Tickets are now extremely limited so head to ticketSOUP or one of Robert Graham’s shops on Rose Street or the Canongate in Edinburgh or on West Nile Street in Glasgow to make sure you’re part of this unique event. Myself and the other gents here at Edinburgh Whisky Blog Towers will be present at each session to chat to you about everything and anything to do with whisky and to help guide you through the event. Don’t be shy, come say hello and share a dram!
