Lucas and I have a confession to make. We are snobs and we are old men, trapped in young men’s bodies. We like comfy seats, polite staff, tasty venison burgers, excellent Scottish beers, great wine and an amazing selection of Single Cask whiskies. We also like somewhere we can sit, in peace, without a mobile phone going off or someone spilling a pint on us.
This is why we like the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. We have met some excellent friends there and we have tried some superb whiskies.
Being a local Edinburgh business and with us being the Edinburgh Whisky Blog, it made sense that we should list their Outturn and support them on the Blog in any way we can.
